A Collaboration to Advance AI-Assisted Fetal Ultrasound

GE HealthCare (Nasdaq: GEHC) today announced a collaboration with Diagnoly, a pioneering DeepTech company specializing in AI-assisted prenatal screening, to advance the use of artificial intelligence in fetal ultrasound assessment. Under this agreement, both companies intend to accelerate the integration of Diagnoly’s Fetoly™ solution into GE HealthCare’s Voluson™ ultrasound systems designed for women’s health.

Ultrasound plays a critical role throughout pregnancy by providing clinicians with key insights into fetal growth and development, as well as the detection of potential congenital anomalies. However, factors such as fetal movement, increased maternal abdominal thickness, and operator variability can make it difficult to achieve consistent, high-quality examinations.

The integration of advanced technologies, such as artificial intelligence, enables clinicians to streamline workflows, reduce workload, and improve consistency and accuracy in fetal assessments.

Fetoly™ is a real-time artificial intelligence solution designed to support comprehensive and standardized fetal ultrasound examinations in line with International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG) guidelines. The solution provides AI-assisted diagnostic support for fetal heart and brain analysis while continuously verifying exam completeness and quality criteria in real time. This capability represents a significant enhancement to the Voluson portfolio, enabling clinicians to deliver high-quality care.

A Shared Vision to Support Clinicians and Patients
