Privacy Policy

Diagnoly ("we", "our", "us") built the Fetoly application ("Fetoly" or the "Service") as a commercial medical software solution. The Service is provided by Diagnoly and is intended for use as is. Fetoly is designed exclusively for use by qualified healthcare professionals and supports the real-time analysis of fetal ultrasound images. Diagnoly is committed to protecting privacy and ensuring compliance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR"), as well as Google Play and Apple App Store requirements. This Privacy Policy explains how Fetoly handles data, including the collection, use, and disclosure of information in connection with the Service. It is intended to inform users about our practices when using the Application. By choosing to use the Service, you agree to the handling of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Any information collected is used solely for providing and improving the Service. Diagnoly does not use or share information except as described in this Privacy Policy. Unless otherwise defined herein, the terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which are available on the Diagnoly website.

Information Collection and Use

For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.

No Collection of Personal or Health Data

Diagnoly does not collect, store, transmit, or have access to any personal data or health data processed through the Fetoly application. Fetoly operates entirely locally on the device and processes ultrasound image data in real time solely for the purpose of providing clinical support functionalities. No patient data, including identifiable information (such as names or IDs), is accessed, extracted, or used by Diagnoly. All patient-related data remains under the sole control and responsibility of the healthcare institution using the software.

Data Retention and Deletion

Any data processed by the application is held temporarily in memory only for the duration of the active session and is automatically discarded when the application is closed. The application uses Firebase Crashlytics to collect limited technical and diagnostic information (such as crash stack traces, device type and randomly generated installation identifiers) to help us identify and fix errors. This information is not used to directly identify users. Crashlytics data is retained for up to 90 days and is automatically deleted thereafter in accordance with Firebase’s data retention policies. Users have the right to request deletion of any data associated with them. Since Fetoly does not store personally identifiable data, we may not be able to link data to a specific individual. However, users can contact us at privacy@diagnoly.com for any privacy-related requests, and we will respond in accordance with applicable laws. Users may also delete any locally stored application data at any time by uninstalling the application or clearing app data through their device settings.
